Respect Others: Harassment, insults, or discrimination in any form are prohibited.
This includes, but is not limited to, persistent abuse, mockery, derogatory remarks targeting gender, sexual orientation, region, or disability, and gender-war bait that pits people against each other. Repeatedly flooding the local timeline, reply threads, or group conversations with low-information content (copy-pasta, pointless mentions, or spam) also counts as harassment.

No hate speech. Hateful, discriminatory, or inciting speech targeting groups based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, region of origin, disability, or similar identity characteristics is prohibited.
This includes spreading derogatory stereotypes about specific groups, advocating for the exclusion or harm of a group, and stirring up conflict between groups (e.g. gender-based or regional "us vs. them" flame wars).

Comply with German and EU law. Illegal content is prohibited; unauthorized distribution of others' work is prohibited.
This includes, but is not limited to: child sexual abuse material, symbols of unconstitutional organizations and Nazi propaganda, denial or glorification of genocide, promotion of terrorism, credible threats of violence, as well as unauthorized piracy, full-text reposting, or providing downloads of copyrighted works.

Protect privacy. Publishing others' private information without consent is prohibited.
This includes doxxing, publishing others' undisclosed contact information or home address, stalking/harassment, and creating a new account to circumvent a block or ban in order to contact a user who has blocked or muted you.

Advertising, solicitation, scams, and spam are prohibited.
This includes unsolicited commercial promotion, pyramid-scheme/referral recruitment content, phishing or scam content, and bulk repetitive spam.

Distributing malware, or scanning, attacking, or excessively scraping the site is prohibited.
This includes distributing malicious software or phishing links, attempting unauthorized access to site systems, and scraping site data at a rate that disrupts normal operation.

Explicit real-person sexual content is restricted.
This instance may not be used as an account primarily for posting explicit real-person sexual content (NSFW). Occasional such content must be marked as sensitive and use a content warning (CW).
